Your template. The agent's hands. Your review.

Athena builds your weekly deck inside your own company template, in the same file you are editing, and then shows you exactly what it changed.

Your Template, Your Review

Every Monday, somewhere in your company, someone opens last week's deck and this week's spreadsheet and spends the morning copying numbers from one to the other.

It is the first thing almost every team asks Athena to do. "Here is the sheet. Make the deck."

It is also where most AI tools quietly fall apart. You get back something that looks like a deck: the wrong fonts, a layout nobody at your company would use, charts you cannot edit, attached to an email. Now you have two files and no idea what changed between them. So someone rebuilds it by hand, and the AI saved nothing.

We wanted the opposite. A deck you would actually send.

It starts with your file, not ours. Open your company template in Athena. Your masters, fonts, logo placement, and chart styles come with it. Ask for this week's deck from this week's sheet, then watch. Athena builds one slide while you fix the title on another. You both edit the same file simultaneously.

Your Template, Your Review

Nothing is hidden. When it is done, one click lists every shape Athena touched, each linked to the cell its number came from. Accept them, fix one, undo another. You are reviewing, not re-checking everything from scratch.

What you export is real PowerPoint. Open it on any laptop and it looks the way it did in Athena, because it is the same file. Word and Excel work the same way: the memo in your letterhead, the workbook with your formulas intact.

For the developers reading. Athena edits these files through Python libraries that behave like the ones you already use for Office documents, flushing every change into the live shared file instead of writing to disk.

Your Template, Your Review
What to plan for

These are faithful rebuilds of Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, not Microsoft's own apps. Standard documents, formulas, and masters come through cleanly. Unusual embedded objects sometimes do not, and the import tells you exactly which ones.

If your firm cannot let documents touch an outside cloud, the whole thing can run inside your own environment.

The Monday deck is still yours. You just stop building it by hand.

One file, two editors, live

Open your company PowerPoint template in PowerPoint Studio. Masters, fonts, logo placement, and chart styles import at full fidelity. Attach the weekly spreadsheet and ask Athena to build the deck. While you edit the title on slide two, Athena writes slide three in the slide list beside you. You are both in the same file at the same time, the way two people share a document.

Athena edits through three Python libraries that flush every change into the live document as it happens. Collaborators see each shape, number, and bullet land in real time. Nothing is hidden in a draft or sent as an attachment. The deck you review is the deck you send—no export step, no second file.

Review what changed, not everything

When the deck is done, one click opens the compare view. Every shape Athena touched is outlined, each linked to the spreadsheet cell its number came from. Click a shape and the citation shows the exact cell: Regions sheet, row fourteen, column C. Accept them all, fix one, or undo another. You are reviewing, not re-checking the entire presentation from scratch.

AGS (Athena Governance System) tracks changes the same way across human and agent edits. Version history shows who changed what and when, with session and message context attached. Roll back a range, a slide, or a single paragraph. Export at any point and the file is standard OOXML: open it on any laptop and it looks exactly the way it did in PowerPoint Studio, because it is the same file format.

Works with the files your team already uses

Word Studio and Athena Sheets work the same way. Draft the memo in your firm letterhead with citations attached to every supporting passage. Build the workbook with formulas intact and attribution on every save. Connect files from SharePoint, OneDrive, Box, or iManage; they stay where they live. Use the Excel add-in to hand a sheet to Athena without leaving Office, or open it in a Studio when the agent needs to work alongside you.

Athena Sheets handles spreadsheets over one million rows; a 1M-row CSV compared in about seven seconds. Multiple agents have edited one workbook simultaneously in testing. Cell formulas include =ATHENA(), =ATHENAQUERY(), and =AOP() for calling an Agent Operating Procedure directly from the grid. Sheet Queries preserve Power Query linkage when you open a file, edit it, and export it back.

Self-hosted Office that never touches Microsoft

If your firm cannot let documents touch an outside cloud, the whole system runs inside your own environment. Studios (PowerPoint Studio, Word Studio, and Athena Sheets) are digital twins of the Microsoft apps, not the apps themselves. Standard documents, formulas, masters, and most macros round-trip cleanly. The import process tells you exactly which elements carried over and which did not, so every element is reported.

This is the most common first request in almost every pilot: here is the spreadsheet, make the deck. Athena builds it inside your actual template, shows you every shape it changed and where each number came from, and hands you a real PowerPoint you can open anywhere. The Monday deck is still yours. You just stop building it by hand.

“He wrote the entire stuff. By itself. And I was there, and I was thinking, alright. If I had to write all this stuff, I mean, I would've spent days, days, days.”
